My stomach was trippin last night. Usually before a show I eat very little or not at all, but last night I pigged out! I dont know what came over me. I think I paid for it later during the show because my stomach was twisted up. Ouch but I delt with it. why? Because the place was packed! And the show must go on. Im just glad my guts dont do what Bergens do to him. Any who What a "HOT" show we had last night @ the Madrone Lounge. Intimate venue built by owner Leila who took care of us. Our new friends Sutro kicked off the night and they got the place"in the mood. I really enjoyed their set and they helped me deal with the nerves. As always all you Zonkaholics rocked Sorry to all of you who came and couldnt see us due to not having a stage. But we do appreciate you coming out. Your support keeps us going.We repping you Bay Area, I cant wait for the LA tour tommorow.

O Dusty Diary...

I have neglected you so , But Im writing in you now and thats what counts.=) Today is the Offical release day for the CD and tommorow we come out of the studio and back on stage tommorow in SF. I cant wait! The new year has been a challenge for me but things are looking on the up. For example: My motorcycle was stolen, now I got me a car. My dogs had 5 puppies, then it looked like they all were going to die, but at least 2 have survived...they are so cute. I found out somebody has been using my Social security # and , and,,,hmmmm still waiting on that to improve. Sooo that just a few things that have happened to me I will let you know more when Im ready. Things happen for a reason and I feel like Ive been a victim of circumstace. But I know I cant give up cuz I know I gotta hit the bottom to get on the up. -David We will rise like "The Rose that grew from the Concrete" -tupac WORD

First post by me for 2005
Ok so i didn't write anything after my last post. Luckily Berg and Nic did not write anything here for me. Anywho, we've been in the studio writing new music and prepping for the new album and last fridays show with Lady Kier, which we totally rocked the packed house @ tounge and groove. We played a couple of our new songs "Radio me " and "Sold it" as well as the other ZONK songs we didn't record. It was a great night, I really enjoyed the energy and meeting a whole bunch of new fans. Thanks for making it out. Look out everybody here comes the new, improved ZONK!!!

OK, I am making a go at writing in this journal. In response to the threats by my fellow bandmates (N and B). Who said that if I didnt, then they would write stuff in here for me....so. Here we go. Lots going on in the life and times of RED 5. Im being challenged in the many aspects of it. Work,living situation, love and spiritualism are challenging me to look deep within and make changes. Changes needed to put balance in my life. But enough about some of the personal thangs im going though. Im stoked about our last show in SF tommorow night. You better come! We going to light up the night at "Electric Lady".
